Southpaw Recording Studios, a cozy, fully equipped recording facility located in pastoral Bernardston, Massachusetts, is the personal studio of musican Tommy Byrnes. Tommy has a basic philosophy: provide first rate recording services and keep it affordable. He works on a per day, low hourly rate or on a special per project basis. Keeping within an artist's budget is a main objective at Southpaw.

The Studio is equipped with cutting edge software and the hardware to capture every nuance of a performance. With a vast collection of software instruments and samplers, plugins and synthesizers artists can experiment with new ideas and new sounds. The studio should be a creative environment. Acoustic, Celtic, Folk and Roots music are a specialty.


Southpaw is owned and operated by Tommy Byrnes, a producer, engineer and musician with over 40 years of recording expertise. He works closely and collaboratively with clients to make sure the finished product is what they envisioned.
